Hoop Earrings
Each 40mm hoop has one fixed end. Open the other slightly and thread on beads.
Leave the last 1 cm of wire clear and push back into the opening.
Either glue or bend the end of the wire to secure.
Open the loop at the bottom of each ear wire.
Thread through the hole at the top of the finished hoop.
Close loop. |
Trinket Necklace
Thread the bottom bead on a headpin.
If the bead hole is too large use a small bead first.
Bend the headpin at 90° directly above the bead.
Cut the wire leaving 1 cm.
Using pliers grasp the end and roll back to form a loop.
To make longer add an eyepin, thread on a bead and make another loop.
Open a jump ring, thread through the loop and over the chain.
Close jump ring. |
Natural, Glass and Semi Precious Earrings
Thread the bottom bead on a headpin.
If the bead hole is too large use a small bead or a bead cap first.
Bend the headpin at 90° directly above the bead.
Cut the wire leaving 1 cm.
Using pliers grasp the end and roll back to form a loop.
To make longer add an eyepin, thread on a bead and make another loop.
Open the loop at the bottom of the ear wire.
Add earring and close loop. |
Plastic Bead Bracelet
Thread beads onto elastic.
Secure with a reef knot. |
Phone Charm
Thread a bead on a headpin.
If the bead hole is too large use a small bead first.
Bend the headpin at 90° directly above the bead.
Cut the wire leaving 1 cm.
Using pliers grasp the end and roll back to form a loop.
Open a jump ring, thread through the headpin loop and one of the chain links.
Close jump ring.
Continue adding beads along the chain.
Attach chain to phone strap with a jump ring. |
Wooden Necklace and Bracelet
Necklace:
Thread beads on the cotton thong.
They can be spaced apart using an overhand knot.
The necklace can be finished with a reef knot at the back or two sliding knots.
Bracelet:
Thread beads onto elastic.
Secure with a reef knot. |
Pin Brooch
Thread a bead on a headpin.
If the bead hole is too large use a small bead first.
Bend the headpin at 90° directly above the bead.
Cut the wire leaving 1 cm.
Using pliers grasp the end and roll back to form a loop.
Open a jump ring, thread through the headpin loop and one on the pin brooch.
Close jump ring.
Continue until all brooch loops have at least one bead or charm. |
Surfer Necklace
Thread beads on the leather thong.
They can be left to slide or spaced apart using overhand knots.
Work from the centre of the thread outwards.
Finish with two sliding knots. |
Charm Bracelet
Thread a bead on a headpin.
If the bead hole is too large use a small bead first.
Bend the headpin at 90° directly above the bead.
Cut the wire leaving 1 cm.
Using pliers grasp the end and roll back to form a loop.
Repeat with another bead.
Open a jump ring, thread through both headpin loops and one of the chain links.
Close jump ring.
Continue adding beads along the chain. |
Memory Wire Ring
Either turn the end of the wire back on itself to make a loop or glue on a bead.
Thread on the rest of the beads required.
Repeat at the other end. |
Bag Charm
Thread a bead on a headpin.
If the bead hole is too large use a small bead or bead cap first.
Bend the headpin at 90° directly above the bead.
Cut the wire leaving 1 cm.
Using pliers grasp the end and roll back to form a loop.
Open a jump ring, thread through the headpin loop and one of the chain links.
Close jump ring.
Continue adding beads along the chain.
Attach chain to swivel clasp with a jump ring. |

Either turn the end of the wire back on itself to make a loop or glue on a bead.
Thread on the rest of the beads required.
Repeat at the other end. |
Lariat / Continuous Necklace
Thread beads on the cotton thong.
Space apart using overhand knots either side of the bead.
Work from the centre of the thread outwards.
Lariat:
Secure two of the larger beads at either end so that it hangs well.
Continuous:
Save a large holed bead to last.
Pass both ends through the bead in opposite directions.
Make a knot on either side of the bead. |
